I didn't make a new years resolution, though I meant to.
I meant to make it that I have to get a job or else...
That I have to be more mature and less reckless.
That I have to stop giving away all my stuff.
But you know, I plan to get a job anyway, those who don't think I can, can go sit on some nice red hot pokers and wiggle a little, what bastards they are! I want to work about as much as the average person doesn't! :P
I'll never be more mature, I've fought to be for so long and it just makes me miserable! Utterly miserable!!! So I'll let the pretentious snub my ass (It keeps them smiling), and enjoy the company of like minded tolerant folk who deserve to be entirely adored!
And as to giving away my stuff? Why not? Others appreciate it and I haven't a sentimental bone in my body anymore, they're welcome to it!
Have toothbrush, will travel!
So if I had to say I made a new years resolution then I can simply say I made it to be as happy as I could be in any given situation. My glass got knocked about in 2010 but hey you know what? At least it's still half full! (And doesn't have any ciggie butts floating in it or suspicious grease on the rim - way plus!)
And I have my own little goals. I want to work, I want to have purpose in my life, I want love - shite scared of it as I am, and I want good friends and maybe even, one day, a family. Small goals. Good goals.
Oh my word but 2011 is going to be IN-TER-RES-TING!!!

NO WAY!!!
Finally the last day of 2010 is here! Now I'm not going to go on about what a year it was, or my expectations (high and unrealistic though they may be), for 2011, but I am going to go on and on and on about the fact that socks are fabulous!!
Okay no not really, that's all there just to lull you into a false sense of security...Of course I'm going to enthuse about the new year, silly rabbit!
I hope everyone has an awesome New Years Eve! Lot's of fun and laughter with friends and / or family (Or even just on your own if that's what you want, a little madness never hurt anyone - well okay getting locked up for it and receiving electro-shock therapy could change that...)
Bugger it! I'm so excited I don't even know why! Sure the year will probably end up like any other year and the excitement may well be for naught, but it's awfully fun to feel it now all the same, don't you think?
So let's all go out and conquer!!

* It's influence - I like it! Good card to take into the new year! I already know the meaning of life though - to be HAPPY of course, duh! :P

Second last day of the year! < - - (for anyone who hasn't yet sort of guessed that) And I feel most magnificent today! (I'm not 100% sure why, but why question a good thing if you're not a character in a mini-series?)
Have you got anything planned for New Years?
Ordinarily I like to just sleep through it, I always feel waking up fresh and zingy and full of energy is the right way to start a new year, not all tired out and hung over and smelling like death on heels. (which is a certain stench made up partly of perfume, partly of cigarette smoke, partly of stale booze and partly of a scent that can only be likened to 2 week old road kill.)
This year though I may do it differently. Variety being the spice of life and all. And the fact that I did the whole sleeping in thing this year and look how it turned out, I mean really, you try to raise a year right and this is the thanks you get!
Of course I have problems staying awake past 10pm so that could also be interesting... Catch Jo the zombie, performing mostly-live at the 31st near you!

* What I think it means - Oooh sounds very peppy indeed! You can't help associate positive vibes to such a card!
* What it really means - The highest spiritual card. A humanitarian card to help others.
* It's influence - Well that makes sense, who doesn't feel awesome helping other people? And today I'm going to do that in spades!
