See I thought of starting my thought of the Day nice and early and putting in some deep wisdom, with a side order of philosophy and a smattering of grated opinion.
But my mind is being very unco-operative.
Do you ever have that? Just when you're focusing in for some good thought and enlightenment, your brain turns on you and snaps: "Bugger off! I'm watching the game!"
To which you then reply: "What game, the tv isn't on! I don't even have a tv!"
And then of course you start arguing with yourself and then the fists fly and if you're lucky someone will come and toss water on you before they call the blokes with the butterfly nets.
Right well as you can see I've drawn a total blank.
I shall just have to take the day as it comes and hope for divine inspiration for tomorrow. I couldn't think of a single topic, like religion, politics, spirituality, life, love, hope, fruit, dancing, animals...
Not a single topic!
Welcome to Wednesday people! ^_-
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - The Devil
* What I think it means - I think I've had this one reversed. Being me thought I totally forgot what it means. Could it be that I will get up to some glorious mischief today? Hopefully it doesn't mean that my walk will smell like fire and brimstone, cause yesterday that lake-like thing near us honked and I could smell MacDonalds, which always reminds me of the smell of boiled human flesh (Which of course is mildly disturbing as I've never smelt boiled human flesh - or at least hope not - god my tummy feels funny now...)
* What it really means - Greed, perversion and Lust. Being around someone who isn't nice,Mental illness
* It's influence - Damn this is going to be an interesting day isn't it?!

Aaaaaaaah!!!
I hate job hunting!!!! Someone hire me for something, anything please!
>_<
That is the end of today's rant. Please email or contact on a chat program for more frustration, desperation and/or gnawing of knuckles.
Thank you for your time.
THE END
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - Justice
* What I think it means - If it's saying not having a job is meant to be then I may have to get physical and not in a nice, turkish hot oil kind of way either!
* What it really means - Balance is required. Honesty is essential. Stick to your guns.
* It's influence - Yeah balance I could sure go for. Honesty comes with the package and as to guns.... ☆¸.•*`'•. ★ ~~~guns~~~ ☆¸.•*`'•. ★

Job hunting is by far the most painful part of my entire existance and the blazing irony of my life in that I am one of the few people out there who really, really wants to work!
Seriously I hate being bored with a passion! Being made to work till I drop without room to do much more stop every now and then for a loo break, well that would be heaven! Overworked is an experience I'm crossing my fingers for!
Being a grand old lady of 32, with no transport (apparently feet don't count) and little experience, has not exactly got people bashing down my door to hire me. And they're making it awfully hard to get such a wonderful person as me on their staff but putting in things like '2 years experience required' or 'own transport essential' or 'must be willing to dress up as a howler monkey' (Applied to that one, they've yet to get back to me...)
Got any advice amigo?
p.s. No I will never learn to drive. Never ever ever amen! Scooter, feet or levitation only!
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - 8 of cups
* What I think it means - Well there's a lady with a bunch of cups balanced on her head. Does that mean I have to learn a new skill? Not if I end up making the sort of face she's making. (Between you and me I think she needs more fiber in her diet...)
* What it really means - New Beginnings, don't live in the past.
* It's influence - Wow nifty! Is there anyone else who's thinking the card of the day is pretty much always surprisingly accurate?

Isn't life a crazy place? How is it things can never just go from A to B but require you to jump hoops to C, W and E, back down R S V P and around to F U?
In my life this is pretty much the set game plan with the odd fiery pit or old guy with gropey hands tossed in for poops and giggles.
We don't get our dream job (or in my case any job, I mean for friks sake, HIRE ME already, what is it, do I smell funky, cause I bath plenty you know!), we don't get the person we want (or even let them know they're the person we want), or someone cuts in line and grabs the last fruit salad inches from our noses! (Perhaps the worst of the lot!)
Life is odd! Complex and, I suspect, not without it's own sadistic brand of humour.
Or is that just me?
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - The Fool - reversed
* What I think it means - I've done something stupid haven't I?
* What it really means - The Asker will feel she is constantly in a rut. She may do something selfish or thoughtless
* It's influence - Ah shuddup!

Oh bugger! Forgot to do a thought on Friday in my defense I was... um... oh can't tell you that can I ... well I was busy!
Life has gotten very interesting though. I must say I've learnt a lot of things, most of them unmentionable, in the last few months. It has been nothing if not entertaining. I never knew my mind worked that way. I like it!
But isn't life so unpredictable? I mean sure you might not see that you'll spill your coffee or get a spider bite to the soft and tenders on the loo seat one night, but unpredictable change can come slowly and sneakily as well. People can and do change as time goes by. A leopard may not be able to change it's spots, but it can change it's focus on what spots it notices!
God I'm deep!
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - Knight of wands
* What I think it means - He looks a saucy lad with his wand in his hand - interpret as ye wish.
* What it really means - A light haired person, with the gift of the gab who's prone to putting their foot in it.
* It's influence - yeah but what does that mean? I'll meet him? I'll get mugged by him? I'll dress him in a bear outfit and make him dance Bobo dance?!

I miss the swings that used to near the fruit shop in Benoni. They were good ones. Nice wooden seats with good, strong chains. I could get some real velocity going with those puppies!
The trick was to get on them when the park security guard was over the bridge and under the trees on the other side of the stream. He was quite the stickler for rules and believed firmly that if you were over 14 years old you weren't supposed to be on the swings. I think people with the souls of 14 year olds should be allowed on though, don't you?
But the ideal was to see how much swing I could get in before he saw me, recognized the hat, and started coming back to tell me off. My timing got to the point where I could get some speed going, tickle sky with my feet, and still manage to leap off and make a dash for freedom! (Once or twice that lead to skinned knees or some really awesome bruising! < - - Jo's are enthusiastic but not, alas, grace on heels)
But life changes and things move on, for better or for worse, and those swings aren’t part of my life anymore. But one day, oh hell yes… one day I’ll be back!
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - The magician – reversed. (Lot of reversed cards lately…)
* What I think it means - I’m going to be turning tricks?
* What it really means – Deceit and lies will be present, Watch out for bad luck and obstacles
* It's influence – It’s Thursday today, could the card be any more correct?

I do like xmas traditions!
I'm not not keen on the whole jesus and motley crew bit, religion never sits well on my shoulders (especially not with this sunburn...)
But I do love putting a tree up! All the colour and splash! The finding bits that have gone AWOL, accidentally stepping on great grandma's last delicate glass ornament, getting tangled in tinsel or having to check the whole 'bloody' string of lights to find the one loose one that's stopping all the rest from working!
It's just magical!
I also like watching, "The nightmare before xmas", the night before xmas. It's so cute and I can sing along to all the songs. Which is either a good thing or just sad, depending on your life outlook.
And there's presents! I find if I even just have one, it makes the whole of xmas worthwhile. I'm a firm believer in not opening your present(s) until xmas morning and have the will power to keep mine when everyone else savages theirs pre-dawn.
For me Xmas is a time to feel gratitude for the people in your life. The gift is to say, hey you, thank you for being there, I love you.
So now I'm off to sing carols to myself and stare at the nifty tree and feel all very warm and gooey!
Bugger the cynics - I LOVE XMAS!!!
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - 9 of cups - reversed
* What I think it means - Looks like weird uncle harry got into the eggnog again and is making a royal mess
* What it really means - One may be susceptible to over eating, over drinking or weight gain.
* It's influence - Note to self, give everyone chocolates so they gain more then I do!
