RAAAARH!!!
Third day raining and I'm going softly, quietly, totally and utterly MAD!!!!!!!!!!! < - - these are not the exclamation marks of a sane woman!!
I feel like an angry wasp trapped in a jam jar and believe me, someone is going to get such a sting when that lid finally opens!!!
It's at times like this, and only times like this, that I find lazy people very enviable. They just tootle on with life, watch tv, sit, sit and sit some more, scratch their bum, and hey, life is good!
While us more hyper people are left to pace the carpet bare with pent up energy and consider trying to climb the walls as an extra-curricular sport!!
Please, please, please let tomorrow be a dry rain free day! *sobs quietly*
Right let me go do something like... sit on the chair. Or sit on the bed. Go wild and sit on the table!
HELP ME!!!
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - 5 of swords
* What I think it means - Well the little naked lassie all curled up looks a bit like she could use some exercise too!
* What it really means - Mental or health problems. Quarrels. An admirer.
* It's influence - How the heck do all three of the above relate to each other? As for mental problems... teeheeheee...

Oh did I sleep great last night, even though I was plagued by the weirdest dreams that had me waking up feeling very happy but slightly offended. < - - which is pretty much like every other day.
A mosquito did bite me though and I felt most taken advantage of! I hate all sorts of parasites! Whether they're mosquitoes, bed bugs, tape worms, lawyers or even the sort that come from the stars and eat their way out of your stomach and make Warrant Officer Ripley's space voyage a most uncomfortable one.
But mosquitoes are the ones I come up against the most! (sort of glad really cause the space alien sort are pretty much a once off deal!). My blood / body fluids are my own dammit! And those horrors are always far more attracted to me then to anyone else! I'm the one at parties who gets put on the far side of the seating arrangement so that all the mosquitoes head my way and leave everyone else in peace!
And telling me it's a compliment and that my blood must be pretty damn tasty doesn't exactly make me feel much better! Just more paranoid of cannibals... long story.
LEAVE ME ALONE YOU ABSOLUTE HORRORS!! *flails about a bit more for self delusion then any real hope of scaring anything off*
*pant...gasp...wheeze*
*scratches mozzie bite*
AAARGH!
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - Wheel of fortune - reversed
* What I think it means - There are two buck naked devils, a naked sphinx and two entwined snakes all around a wheel! Makes me think of sci-fi pornos or last night's dream...
* What it really means - Don't take chances with your health. Feeling run down or depressed.
* It's influence - Curse you biting bastards...

Right that's it! I'm officially giving up on nail polish!
Probably!
Maybe.
It's my one feminine weakness, splashing two different sets of colours on my feet in random order. (My feet look alike but never dress alike, preferring mismatched socks and polishes). Problem is my feets are part of my body and my body is always active. this leads a to a lot of chipped paint which leaves me looking like intellectual trailer trash. (I get the intellectual bit from wearing glasses, cause all smart folk on tv wear glasses, ergo it must be true!)
I am going through polish at a phenomianal rate, but it's the cheap stuff, so Im probably supporting a family of seven in M'Beanie-land sweat shops when I buy the stuff! < - -Jo, always the humanitarian.
To paint or not to paint that is the question!
What do you think?
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - 10 of swords reversed
* What I think it means - Well those two people all tied up in bondage looks pretty kinky! Or maybe it means that I should keep the nail thing under wraps?
* What it really means - Karmic debt must be repaid. Being a special protector.
* It's influence - Fine I'll keep using the polish, eat well my little sweat shop worker family, next bowl of rice is on me!!

Ah working is fun!! Being so busy there's no time to think and the day flies past and the panic rises and you start running your fingers through your hair so much it starts coming out in clumps and your legs and arms twitch and your heart goes thumpity-thump and you feel sweat beading prettily on your brow and everyone else seems to be so relaxed cause it's Christmas and you're like 'what-does-that-have-to-do-with-me-god-I-wish-I-drank-coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool.
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - Page of Wands
* What I think it means - I don't know, I'm too busy to guess!
* What it really means - Rumours, childish pranks and impatient friends!
* It's influence - If they bother me, they die. That's it.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo vibed!!!
Off to the movies today, Hooray!
See now mostly I don't like going to cinemas. You can't pause the movie to go to the loo (and I always end up needing to go at important moments); you can't fast-forward the boring bits; there's always someone who didn't mute their cell phone and, perhaps the single largest atrocity, they don't let you take watermelon into the movie!
Sometimes I don't know what this world is coming to.
I'll admit 3D is also not top of the pops with me either. Makes my eyes feel all wonky like. And if you take the nose-eating glasses off you can't look at the screen without feeling woozy. (Large parts of Avatar passed in a tear induced haze...)
So why am I happy to go with all these terrible and dreaded threats hanging above my head?
Actually I'm not sure, I have to think about that...
I suppose cause it's still an adventure to go out to one. There's something awfully fun about hunting for your seat (and thank goodness it wasn't next to that twitchy guy in the raincoat), and feeling very satisfied when you find them and promptly decide they're the best in the house and how clever you were to get them, you stud you!
I like the trailers as well. Sometimes they're the best part of the movie!
And then you get to see the whole movie on a ginormous screen with music so loud it grapples your very bones!
Most satisfying.
So I'm now off to go watch Mega-mind (Apparently it's soooooooooo funny that waiting for it on DVD would be sacrilegious!)
Please! Don't envy me little one.
Alright you can envy me a bit...
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - 8 of swords
* What I think it means - Well it looks like a brutal card what with the wee little people all tied up and not looking like it's S&M goodness.
* What it really means - Feelings of being trapped and confused. Confusion. A female out for revenge.
* It's influence - A female out for revenge? Someone's going to be kicking my chair today aren't they? Grrrrr!

I am a physical person.
Now I don't just mean that in some naughty, kinky way, so no comments on that in this blog... stop looking so hopeful dammit!!!
But I do love the human connection. Hugs, pats, touch on the knee, someone to cry against, or to cry on me (and hope the tears don't leave stains...)
Interacting with people, telling daft jokes, being the small freaky bastard that I am, and even getting judged for it. To me, it's all very thrilling! It's part of who I am.
I don't know how the loners do it. Those people who can survive just being by themselves and not needing anyone. It blows my mind! Hats off to you guys for doing what I can't.
I used to think that was the sort of person I was, the introvert, reading a book and keeping myself to myself.
Oops, there you go, even I misjudged me!
It's an odd sensation.
I hate to admit it, but I, Jovvi Rain Hudson... I... LIKE PEOPLE!!! >_<
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - Ace of Pentacles - reversed
* What I think it means - As long as it's not death and destruction, I can probably manage. It's been a tough day, please be gentle...
* What it really means - The asker will suffer from greed, materialism and poverty.
* It's influence - Well so far I just have the last one. Though I did have an extra packet of cashew nuts today, so there's that greed surfacing...

I suspect I like doing laundry. It was some what unexpected. Love would be too strong a word, I'm not the sort to go waltzing about with the Omo washing powder while singing softly to it. (...and anyway if I did I wouldn't say. But I don't!)
There is a sort of thrill in taking dirty laundry out to the machine, and with a touch of a few buttons, some soap and a kick, watching it twirling round and round and transforming into something a bit more nasally palatable.
I'll admit hanging laundry is not always so fun, the sun can get pretty beastly and ravange your good senses after a few minutes. I've come back inside more then once, wobbly legged and bopping into tables while giggling.
To combat this I have become a rogue card and tend not to use pegs when hanging my stuff! I know what you're thinking, what a wild thing she is! How on the edge! What can I say, I'm crazy that way.
The clean laundry, all warm and dry, is the real highlight. It always feels like Christmas as you see the clothing all good and ready and you remember ooooh, I wore that last week and it was so comfy! I'll wear it tomorrow!! (As long as it's not a Wednesday and you're looking at your favorite nurses outfit - bosses have terrible issues with good taste...)
It really is very satisfying!I say this cause I know people well enough to know that 9/10 who read this will snort and hand their washing over to Mumu the maid without a second thought!
Mumu will understand though.
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - 2 of cups
* What I think it means - The disembodied entwined hands tell me it's either a love-love card or has something to do with dismemberment. Sort of wish it was the latter, even though it stains more.
* What it really means - Wonderful relationship of mind and body, reconciliation, engagement, marriage or pregnancy.
* It's influence - Cor blimey, obviously I'm doing my washing the wrong way...!
