I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo vibed!!!
Off to the movies today, Hooray!

See now mostly I don't like going to cinemas. You can't pause the movie to go to the loo (and I always end up needing to go at important moments); you can't fast-forward the boring bits; there's always someone who didn't mute their cell phone and, perhaps the single largest atrocity, they don't let you take watermelon into the movie!
Sometimes I don't know what this world is coming to.

I'll admit 3D is also not top of the pops with me either. Makes my eyes feel all wonky like. And if you take the nose-eating glasses off you can't look at the screen without feeling woozy. (Large parts of Avatar passed in a tear induced haze...)

So why am I happy to go with all these terrible and dreaded threats hanging above my head?
Actually I'm not sure, I have to think about that...

I suppose cause it's still an adventure to go out to one. There's something awfully fun about hunting for your seat (and thank goodness it wasn't next to that twitchy guy in the raincoat), and feeling very satisfied when you find them and promptly decide they're the best in the house and how clever you were to get them, you stud you!

I like the trailers as well. Sometimes they're the best part of the movie!

And then you get to see the whole movie on a ginormous screen with music so loud it grapples your very bones!
Most satisfying.

So I'm now off to go watch Mega-mind (Apparently it's soooooooooo funny that waiting for it on DVD would be sacrilegious!)

Please! Don't envy me little one.
Alright you can envy me a bit...

TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - 8 of swords

* What I think it means - Well it looks like a brutal card what with the wee little people all tied up and not looking like it's S&M goodness.

* What it really means - Feelings of being trapped and confused. Confusion. A female out for revenge.

* It's influence - A female out for revenge? Someone's going to be kicking my chair today aren't they? Grrrrr!
