Monday 13 June 2011 - Monday froth

I was thinking about what wise, wise words I could put here. Something deep and meaningful or dazzling and profound, to get Monday off to a good start!

BUT!!!

I have new anime freshly downloaded!!! Eeeek, I know, how cool is that?! And I can use this time muuuuuuuuch more productively watching it and soaking up all the feel good vibes it engenders! My my! Tell me that's not a muuuuuuuuuch better way to spend a Monday then lost in thought?
I know hey, clever me!!

So saying, make the most of your Monday today! It might not be the most loved day of the week but once or twice it can surprise you in that it DOESN'T rip apart your hopes and dreams and laugh at you from behind the bushes!

02 February 2011 - snot at all!

I made my usual frozen mashed banana today. Alas two things were against me:-

1. I came home late so it lost an hour point five of freezing time = super soggy.
2. The bananas, while ripe, had this odd rubbery core that made mashing rather taxing.

So anyway I pulled this fine treat from the fridge and began munching it with the rapturous joy that all tasty fruit consumption deserves.
BUT.

Now don't get me wrong, it tasted very nice, yum yum and then some.
BUT.

But the consistency... that rubbery, slick, moist, slimy feel in your mouth... ye gods! I realized that this is exactly what eating a pot of snot would have felt like!

Then I wondered to myself, "And how would you know what a pot of snot would be like to eat, Ms. Hudson?"
Then I had a most uncomfortable moment with myself.
