Tuesday 08 March 2011 - squeeeeeeze but like a hug not like a pimple

Don't you hate it when you get the supreme urge to cuddle something and there just isn't anything cuddly-able around?

I mean the hamster is soft and cuddly but if you give it a squeeze you're liable to be bitten moments before you hear an unfortunate popping sound and have to get rid of the little body in a shallow grave in some unmarked pet cemetery that may or may not be haunted by the spirits of dead Indians and do you know how hard it is to get the spirits of dead Indians out to the carpet? They're like an infestation!

Then you start thinking you might as well cuddle your pillow. But isn't that a bit desperate? Wouldn't that be sinking to a new low?
Still.... it's mightily soft looking....

Man! It's no fun when you don't have access to hot and cold running cuddles 24/7!
*Folds arms, sits in corner and pouts.......then goes off to find fruit and forgets what it was she was being morbid about. Apple!*

Sunday 06 March 2011 - nirvanahaha

Do you ever sometimes feel far more then you are? Like you're connected to everything in a way and at peace with it?

I get that sometimes.
It's awfully nifty!!
It's like religion without all the fuss and bother and annoying ceremonies that have you falling asleep on your already long dead feet!
It's like a certainty of........ something!
Not like of a god, a faith, a belief, a dungeon's and dragon's rule book...

But like a love of life! A love of just, well... just being you!!! Of being alive and being able to eat watermelon and laugh and complain and sing and dance like a special kid on acid!

Just a really really awesome feeling you want to share with the world.

Saturday 05 March 2011 - dont forget

My most amazing trick is my ability to forget to take my vitamins.
The irony being that one set of them I take is to help prevent memory loss.
I don't think they're working.

But I forget in ten seconds! I forget after being reminded repeatedly by different people. I forget even with two alarms that go off on my phone. I forget with the box right next to me on my left hand side.
I think it's psychological. those pills taste horrid! Want to get the fur on your neck to stand straight up? Take a sniff of a box of Vitamin B12! Urf!! Yucky!!

Do you do that? Have abilities to remember some things (for me it's odd useless knowledge and people's names), and forget other things regardless of how hard you try? (Vitamins and telephone numbers).

I wonder why we do that?
I'd say it's because we don't have enough space in our brains but I find there's always room to add more useless stuff! Maybe our brains just decide that some stuff is just more nifty then the rest, rate it on a scale of 1 to 10, with anything below 5 being lost in the deep dark chasms of your neural synapses?

I forget the point I was trying to make here...

Friday 04 March 2011 - working working

Earning a living is a bit of a pain in the butt. Sure at least we don't have to forage like wild animals, experimenting with wild and exotic flavours of bark and starving to death pitifully in winter where our corpses will be buried by arctic foxes for "laters", but it's still rather annoying.

Mostly so because so few people are actually doing jobs they love or working in enviroments that make them want to preform above and beyond their capabilities. You go to work, try avoid the bosses wrath, drink coffee that might actually be embalming fluid, watch the clock move so slowly onwards that it would probably make better time if it went backwards and day dream about the day you win a million or 12 in the next lotto. (Which, since you never enter it, maybe postponed a while...)

But we do have to survive and cash is cash is cash once you wipe all the blood and tears off of it.
And besides work does occasionally have it's perks! You can, even by accident, learn new things, watch other people who's lives are more messy then yours, have air-conditioning on really hot days (Ye gods I love that!) and have medical aid and a pension and all those silly things no one cares about till then need it badly and TADA, there it is!

Hey many people make it great, going on their own, starting their own businesses and flying free like an eagle or albatross or turkey or whatever bird you think is pretty awesome. And some fail and fall flat for various reasons that range from financial to emotional to blackmail and extortion. It keeps life varied and entertaining for the rest of us who shall pretty much stay second class labour till we die, sad and alone in a corner like a little dead beetle. < - - she said optimistically!

So please do remember me if you do start up a business though, I am nothing if not a good serving peon and I make coffee that doesn't turn your insides outside! Just a note for future use...

Thursday 03 March 2011 - judge not less blah blah

Hmmmn, off to meet new people and be judged by them! It's terribly exciting!! Not that I adore being judged mind, especially when people make assumptions based on fleeting glimpses that end up totally and utterly wrong and then you have to sit and smile and not strangle them which is such a waste of a good curtain tie...

But it is interesting to see what people make of you. Do they like you? Hate you? Couldn't care less and keep calling you Peebo for some 'who knows what' reason? And what about the judgmental person themselves? What are they like? How do you judge them? What do you make of the package sitting/standing/lurking in front of you, pretty much doing the same thinking you are?

I love getting a first impression and then working from there to see how right or wrong it was! If it's wrong I shrug my shoulders and accept the upgraded version 'Person 5.0' into my thoughts. If I'm right, I sit and congratulate myself and tell me how marvellous I am.
Sometimes I do that anyway, just cause.

So let me be off and go let the world, or at least a couple hundred out of the billions, have their say! I shall be back tomorrow, either triumphant and glorious or ... nah, I like that first lot, let's go with that!

Wednesday 02 March 2011 - dream dream dream

I love to sleep! I think people who go on about, "I'll sleep when I'm dead", are either into masochism with a grunt and a sigh or need medical help and cool blue pills.

Dreaming is one of my favorite pass-times, usually when I'm asleep.Occasionally when on my walks which makes Jovvi vs traffic nothing if not interesting. My mind makes up the most entertaining stuff, I sometimes find it hard to believe it really was generated by me! What was I thinking? And can I think it again Please!

My three most repeatable dreams are:

1. Going back to school - either as a teen or as an adult because suddenly this is allowed and encouraged. I liked school but in my dreams I'm still as awful a student as I was in life. I suppose some fantasies would be too much even for me!

2. The bathroom dream - always has me in new and interesting bathrooms enjoying the decor and cool feel of every item within the room. I have no idea why I have these, it's not like I sub consciously need the loo or have a fetish for smooth, smooth, my gosh it's so smooooooth, porcelain mmmmmh...

3. The end of the world dream. Usually it's aliens but occasionally nuclear bombs or the odd ginormous Tsunami (Thank you 'Deep Impact' for scarring me for life!). These dreams are very fatalistic. We're always fighting for freedom and always losing miserably. I always wake from these with just that much extra gratitude and verve for the day! No tsunami outside? Alrighty then!

I feel sad for folk who don't remember their dreams and hope at least they have good ones that keep them sane and healthy and not liable to go chopping up puppies or girls or girls dressed up as puppies! Anyone of a more dark and swervy frame of mind? Well here's to spiders and no pants, and all your teeth falling out just as you have to give the National Address which you forgot to prepare for!

Night night!
