Okay so I've lost 50% of my hearing and now my right ear is mearly there for decorative perposes. And I'm hoping like crazy this is just a phase it's going through and sure that can be a bit of a bother, but I've decided to take it from the more positive side! There must be some good to having a deaf ear! Let's see...
1. Well I sleep a lot better! Everything is so nice and quiet when I lean on my left ear! Loud music? No worries! Snore like saw mill? Eh, whatever, snuggle up, don't bother me none!
2. I get to hear my music a whole new way at night! I still put both earphones in (Its nice and symmetrical and I don't end up rolling onto it), but I don't hear stereo any more. It makes some songs terribly interesting to listen to! Now I can smirk when I see the artists and think, why yes I know your music just not the way you think I do! Haha!
3. It's an excellent excuse to ignore the guys who yell at me at the side of the roads when I walk. "Sorry what? Can't hear you!"
4. I only have to stick one finger in my ear to block someone / thing out - very ergonomical.
5. Now movie theatre music will only be loud as apposed to the usual LOUD!!
So there!
TAROT CARD OF THE DAY - Queen of cups - reversed
* What I think it means - Well it's got a woman with what looks like a turkey on her head. Just goes to show my sense of hearing is compromised, her fashion sense is as well, but mine is less obvious!
* What it really means - Someone who is gossipy or likes to over exaggerate situations!
* It's influence - Perfect! I can't hear them anyway! :P
