Hooray! I am borrowing an MP3 player to listen to music at night! I've always been dead keen on taking an hour before bed to sit in the dark, stick my headphone doinkies in my ears and just get washed away by the music! It's glorious!!
Sadly a small run in with me vs The Machine ended up with my darling pink MP3 player melting like so much artificial blush-coloured cheese! Really it was quiet fascinating in a gruesome way, I still have it on my desk and look at it now and then. Sometimes I suspect I'm sort of hoping it wasn't as bad as all that.
It was.
But no music before bedtime makes me incredibly figity! I play with my hair, my buttons, my cushion and the wall. And that's just the first 10 minutes. I never fully realized what a twitchy person I am!
But having music at night is heavenly! I fill the player up with music and then just flick through trying to find something to suit my mood! Rammstein, Parlotones, Snow Patrol, various anime music who's names I can't pronounce, Deep Blue Something and something or other! Skim, skim, skim till the perfect song hits me smack on the eardrum! I always wake up in such a peppier mood afterwards!
